Getting vinyl on a vehicle is one thing, getting it to stay long term and look good is different. Thats where training comes in. Your jeep may look great when its done. But 6, 8, 12, 24 months down the line, it may not look the same.

How often will you be running the printer? If its a "side gig" and you arent printing daily, i don't know if i personally would want a solvent/ eco sol printer. Id go latex. That said, i would also do a printer and cutter separately not 1 unit that does both.

KPMF has some awesome finishes and overlams, the film is really aggressive though, takes some getting used to.

I actually don't mind it, some of the things you mentioned are annoying but nothing that can't be worked around. I personally like the ease of adjusting from 1 preset to another so easily, i guess that trumps the little annoyances for me.

Wipe the matte vinyl down with IPA and stick. After install i use a cleaner and aftercare product since IPA can be rough on the vinyl. Cut vinyl on my car has stuck on the matte just fine the past 3 years.

Depends on the car and how tight the trim is and how easy it is to remove, every vehicle is different. If the trim isn't tight to the body we will tuck and cut. If it is tight we will mark where the trim falls on the body, remove the trim and run knifeless in a bit from our marks sealing with...
