  1. What are your pet peeves

"The customer is always right" - WRONG. You're right if you're right, and wrong if you're wrong. Being a customer does not elevate you to being a super-human exempt from the rules of reality.
  2. Colorburst shutting down. File too big. Now what?

Straight from the CD without copying it to/on your hard drive? If so, that alone was the problem.
  3. riddle me this riddle me that

NO. Find it within yourself to walk away and start over. Shake your head and remember. Figure your value, name your price and live up to it. Shake your head & repeat as necessary.
  4. Illustrator wont let me stretch

Don't chase ghosts. It may never happen again.
  5. CD Release Poster

We certainly are doing the pirate thing for the show. There's a story behind it, but not worth telling. The small caps will have to do. Being caps makes them big, anyway. The black is made of mud so it's fine. The sketch is by a friend of ours named Adrian Fernandez. Killer tattoo artist. The...

  11. Summa F Series

Currently the routing work is done on the outside. 99% of them would fit on the bed. I would simply gang things up on the 4' x 8' in a manner that I can first give the sheet rough trimming to fit clusters of parts on the cutter. I agree a larger cutter would be nice, but there is quite a jump in...
  12. Illustrator wont let me stretch

Does the edge show when you select it? It could be that the object became locked, or the edged became hidden.
  13. Illustrator wont let me stretch

Have another keyboard laying around? If not, unplug it and bang it around some.
  14. Summa F Series

Anyone running the Summa F series (flatbed)? I didn't find much info in searching. Are they any good for cutting 3mm+ pvc, foamcore, etc...? :thankyou:
  15. Stubborn Nozzles - Acuity

No head soak mode. These heads do get wiped down. There are two heads for each color. I'll try soaking when I have a chance, but that could be a while. This sucker doesn't stop running.
  16. Stubborn Nozzles - Acuity

Sorry! I posted this in the wrong area before... I've done as much as I can with the vacuum & wiping the heads with fluid. I have one Cyan & one Yellow nozzle I can't get to fire. It isn't really a visible problem in the prints, but I can't stand to run less than 100%. Anyone know of...

I've done as much as I can with the vacuum & wiping the heads with fluid. I have one Cyan & one Yellow nozzle I can't get to fire. It isn't really a visible problem in the prints, but I can't stand to run less than 100%. Anyone know of something else to try? :thankyou:
  18. Maintaining aspect ratio when resizing objects in Illustrator?

I rely heavily on shortcut keys in Illy, so I never noticed. Now that it's been brought up - I hate it. It's the exact opposite of what it should be.
  19. Prints are shorter than file after long runs

Can't help you with the Roland part, but that's what you're going to have to do. Given the size, you could print it at 145" to get the length you need to get the job out until you learn how to make the proper adjustments.
