Cat shit, smoke, bong water, and stale beer.
Hasn't affected business one bit. Nobody that's ever come by has left without placing an order. 80% return to place another.
You're talking about color management. The device you need is a spectrophotometer. You'll need a colorimeter to measure the monitors. Then you need software to create profiles and somebody who knows how to put all that into play.
It's not as complicated as it sounds, but can be a little pricey...
I've stuck regular printed vinyl decals on a coffee mug around the shop (eco-sol inks) and it's been through the dishwasher plenty of times and it still looks like new.
The best mugs I've ever seen or bought have been screen printed. Every mug I've ever had that was done with dye sub has...
I use both and many times there's little to no difference between them and photoshop's quality when blowing images up. Photoshop has come a long way with their native tools.
My father is forever trying to squeeze two dimes out of a nickle. Nobody tell him about this or he'll figure he'll be able to trade the two dimes he gets back for four quarters down the road. Then I'll never hear the end of how he squeezed four quarters out of a single nickle.
Consider it an investment in substrate you can use on other jobs and do this guy's job right. If you're so tight on margin that you're losing all your profit on 2 - 4 x 10 sheets you have more important problems to address. Like finding some customers that will make you some money. You're not...

If you're not doing 6...
I'm probably about 3-5%. Including redos for media issues like bugs or seams or the piece of dust or hair. The vast majority of those were done while the customer was watching. If they watch it goes down to about 50/50.
I've never seen this stuff before an install job arrived at my door today. Looks like cut cling vinyl on a poly backing and it's spec'd as wet install only.
Anybody worked with this stuff before? Does the backing remove pretty easy once it's been wet down? Just looking for some tips to make the...
Grab a copy of Disk Warrior. It's saved my bacon a couple of times when hard drives went iffy. Dead simple easy to use disk recovery software for the mac.
GT is the one thing I miss about the playstation. I went X-box for the online gaming portion.
What's the online play like with the PS3 these days? Let's just say that my x-box experience has been very similar to my windows experience.
Does anybody know of a good source to get some imprinted USB memory sticks from?
Preferably the kind that swivel to protect the USB connection and don't have a loose cap.
You want to ensure your color settings are the same between PS and flexi.
I'm not sure what flexi offers in that department, but your RGB and CMYK working profiles should be the same and you should always ensure the "include input profile" box is checked when saving files so the software isn't...
