Can anyone share the basic principles of printing on metallic vinyl? I typically have blotchy prints when experimenting with metallic vinyl. Any suggestions about temperature or ink saturation? Is humidity a factor for the vinyl itself, or will it just effect the liner? I am just starting out...

yes...it gets all aver the platen, pinch wheels at the edges, media hold-down tabs and post-heater. I am actually meeting with some media converters tomorrow in hopes of finding an appropriate media for all of my problematic applications. Relying on a "vendor" to supply me with a good media...

that's how I typically fix telescoping too, this particular media always has adhesive bleeding out on the edges, making next to impossible to fix that way...it's almost like I would need to re-wind the entire roll. Any rewinding products out there?
