Hi, I'm producing a basic job from customers artwork, in Corel X3. When I publish to PDF and read into Versaworks, the letters are disappearing? When checking in Corel, the fill color has a little marker next to it which I figure has some bearing on the problem - anyone know what it means?

If you are using a upcut bit, in a jam you can just flip the piece over and cut it upside down. It's perhaps not quite so easy to register and it would be cleaner to throw a piece of coro or something under it so you can cut clean thru. A down spiral is the way to go, but this might help you if...

I believe Corel 12 and lower have a maximum pixel of 10,000 x 10,000 when exporting bitmaps...you don't say what ppi you're exporting as, but I'm betting if you reduce it, you'll be able to export the image.

Greetings! Our VP-540 seems to be putting the fuzzies on black output. Same profile, inks and media as usual. I've tried a couple of medium cleans, and a couple of manual cleans - it is a little better, but anyone have any ideas as to what the issue might be and what to try next? Thanks

We use Corel (X3) and get great colours using the Roland palette - you must remember to check the 'Convert spot color' in Versaworks (File Format) as kiko-abaco said.

It's the Parallel Port Mode you need to change - it's currently showing SPP. On most BIOS you just move the highlighted selector to the SPP setting and, I think, hit return. You should be shown the options to change it to ECP.
