Not sure if it's what you're really looking for, but if you make a compound path out of the outlined copy and then fill it, the gradient will flow throughout.
The way the image clips bothers me. It just doesn't seem to work right. It's uneven and makes it look unbalanced. What if the two line of copy were centered with each-other, and the ends clipped off at even angles?
The background is making it look more like a billboard ad than a company sign. Make the copy able to stand on it's own, and then go for background colors, etc...
View the details of the email message source. It should contain the i.p. address of the sender. Then google the address, and you'll get information you can use to scare him pretty good. It may even give you a google earth image of the place he is sitting in.
Maybe I'll actually go to the theater for this one. It's not really my kind of movie, but it looks neat. I just hate going to the theater. I feel like I'm on a field trip. It sucks.
It will be noticed! However, you'll be alienating potential customers who remember it because of being offended by it. It makes the appearance that's the intention. Some nut bag might burn down your shop.
You could build the wordpress blog, and link to it with a "Blog" button on your home page. Just one simple solution that could at least get it going and functional.
