  6. Designing, CMYK or RGB?

Thank you, it's interesting. I will try in RGB though frankly I have a CMYK head. I look at an image and can tell how much cyan it needs, but for the life of me I can't think how much red needs taking out. I have to proof in CMYK, but I'm thinking about getting a 6 colour something. They just...
  7. Designing, CMYK or RGB?

Here is a sort of poll. When you are designing in the proofing stages, do you work in RGB or CMYK? The issue of file size aside. Right now I send out CMYK files to be printed. Should this be RGB and will this give more accurate or brighter results? I design mainly in Illustrator myself, email...
  8. Photoshop?

Illustrator without a doubt. if you stick in Adobe you will have a lot fewer postscript hickups. PS and Ill work together smoothly and work with .pdf smoothly too. Skill with PS is valuable, but for signs and vehicle illustrator is invaluable. I have spent many years working with Corel...

as a postscript to this, you can run any number of computers from one screen/keboard/mouse using www.logmein.com and there is a free version that works fine. The computers can be anywhere in your location or across the internet. I recently took a laptop on vacation and was designing jobs on the...

  16. First Post North Toronto

I'm looking at something around 54 inch. Solvent or Eco-solvent. I have enough banner and adhesive work to justify my own machine and it would fit nicely in my basement/sign workshop. I should post this as a question in one of the forums, but thie big question is Mutoh, Roland or Mimaki. Not...
