why not just rasterize the text layer then the eraser will do whay you want.
Or use the clone tool to copy the swathe of fish to a layer above the text.
I use ".pdf whatever .pdf"
works great. Now what I need is a reliable tool for cracking the protected pdfs to get that blasted logo.
I have to add to that that I almost always add security to my own .pdf proofs.
you can open it in photshop.
or in Acrobat pro you can delete all the bits you don't want, rasterize the font in photoshop then use illustrator to convert to curves...it's is a lot of work.
Or you can ask someone on here that has the font to convert to outlines.
Watch that email promotion. I did the same to my customers, only a thousand emails. Somehow my domain got flagged as a spammer and my proofs started getting bounced back.
Nice clear message though. Gets the message across quickly.
You get what you pay for. Free almost always means trouble.
If you use a free image the liability becomes yours. If it's a "model shot" there needs to be signed model image release forms somewhere in the chain. If you use free shots there likely aren't any. If the model sees the image and isn't...
It seems the concensus is RGB to the rip for signage.
I suppose it is down to the conversion and gamut. In litho print the inks are prety much ridgid, but solvent inks have a much wider gamut.
CMYK in Adobe was originally really meant for litho print so dumbs down the gamut.
I guess I also...
I'm also very interested in this topic.
I was drooling over that valuejet until I visited a friend and he talked up the Roland.
I guess the issues is the Mimaki is an unproven cut system, where the roland has been working and tweaking for years.
I deal with a lot of realtors who want the fancy design, but not the fancy price.
I'm not saying they are all crooked, I'm just saying I count my fingers if I shake hands.
but signproof pro sends the file as an attachment?
the only issue I have with secure .pdf is that some customers cant take attachments because of email restrictions in many companies.
