  5. Mutoh Falcon Outdoor - Rip Software

What RIP are you using? Ciberprint is worth looking into. www.cibercat.com Future RIP could be a solution. I know you can download demos of each program.
  6. Problem with RJ6000 "INK CHANGE" error

If you just got it and they washed the heads (a good thing) before they sold it you would need to do an ink fill. When you do this make sure the ink cartridges have about the same amount in each. Do so by gently shaking them. Keep us posted.
  7. Arlon wrap kit pros & cons

Arlon wrap kit pros & cons.......PRO! This is good material and at a reasonable cost. I use the Xscape for auto work. It prints nice.

  11. Fades are not printing right on Valuejet

I make the fade (gradient) and convert it to a RGB bitmap and then Power Clip it into the vector. I do this in CorelX3 and it works very everytime. Idea Design;442370]I've often found it better to rasterize a gradient fill when printing. That's advice I got from this board and it seems that...
  12. FOjr: Best way to treat missdirected nozzles ?

The Prism Jet is the same printer but labeled from Sign Warehouse. I would soak the print head and than do a cleaning. Make a test file with solid blocks of color so each print clean ink. I have one with c,m,y,k,r,g,b, and a grayscale and a bitmap woodgrain pattern. This covers the need.
  13. falcon jr printing problem color fading to nothing

Once the cap assembly/pump is out of the printer, can I safely wipe down the print head with a lint free rag, loaded with 91% alcohol? (lightly) Or will I mess up nozzles by doing this? Would I be better off soaking a rag with cleaning fluid, putting on top of cap assembly and parking head...
  14. Prismjet decal

Do yourself a cool unique one. Wrap the cover.....with your stuff.
  15. falcon jr printing problem color fading to nothing

You could do a head wash on the color print head only and if that works then do a CMY fill. This will clean the entire color system.
  16. falcon jr printing problem color fading to nothing

You are on the right track. www.cmykparts.com is a source for parts. They sell a refurbish kit for $750 that includes most everything you would need. Victor will send a CD with the repair manual with the kit. I would soak the print heads 10 to 15 minutes and then do a cleaning. It could be you...
  17. Do graphtecs have a vacuum?

Yes they do. I use a down force for intermediate of 18, cast 16, with a laminate 23. 45degree blade. The blade is out enough to feel it. Do a "test" to adjust the blade depth.
  18. Outdoor Junior Printing Problem

Generally a cleaning will fix that. I think environmental conditions have caused stranger results. I keep the temp and humidity in the print room in the normal range on our gauge. I would clean the cap station and the head and do a normal cleaning to start.
  19. For All Corel Users

Bring it into Corel Draw (import) and send it as CDR file.
