We use alot of Solvex perf and have been happy with it. Had a few jobs up for several years and they still look good. Definately not the most conformable but it works pretty well, seems to be very durable. If you're doing a window with any extreme curves you might have a bit of a difficult time...

That really still looks like an encoder strip issue. I'd say try cleaning it again or maybe a couple times. Visually inspect it to see if it's damaged everywhere. If that doesn't solve it my next guess would be bad slider board.

I'd think you'd sell the 74" CMYK printer faster than the 100" of the 8 color. IMO the majority of people buying solvent printers are probably after good looking color at sellable output speeds. For me anyway, these 6-, 8- or 12-color inksets are a turnoff, the color gamut is expanded somewhat...

To me the big turnoff is the 8-color inkset. I don't see how a solvent printed aimed at the mainstream is going to sell like that, your consumables cost will be astronomical compared to a 4-color machine. I know the color gamut is greatly expanded, but typically those kinds of bells and whistles...

Another vote for Creative Banner. Nothing overly fancy or earth shattering, but they have a vast array of everyday tradeshow display products. Good company to deal with too.

need a little help with this one. The script, I know I've seen it, in fact I swear I have it but my eyes are going crossed trying to find it...

All of a sudden, whenever I save a file as an .eps from Illustrator CS4, it save the file, then saves a duplicate of the file named whatever it should be plus -01 at the end. Both files work, just duplicates of each other... WTF is that and how do I get it to stop?

If you're looking to go big and want a really good monitor, i just chedked and Dell's 30" is down to right around $1000 now, that's about $800 less than I paid for mine a little over a year ago, and it's a darn good display.

add a very slight stroke, expand the stroke, and then use the unite pathfinder to weld it all together. Should fix it.
