Yep, usually the only way to reproduce is a photo of whatever is left, combined with and online search. Then rebuild it. It's amazing how may repop logos are out there. I'd also run the photo by the vector doctor to see if he can handle it.

My biggest client has orders every week that have to be delivered by Saturday night. Years back I added a second printer, it was a refurb unit with warranty. It''s great to have that peace of mind. I also do a lot of Edge printing and just picked up a used Edge w/plotter.

Paint and especially stain will bleed in that grain. So first step would be either a full coat of sealer or sealer/stain to control bleeding. Once that's done you can add your other colors. If you torch it, do that first then the sealer. The otehr issue is if this is an outside sign the final...

Grimliteston. My longtime and superb supplier Garston was bought out by Tubelite a couple months ago, now GRIMco is their owner. They delivered 4 days a week on their own trucks and carried a full line of sign supplies. This sucks.

The best way to do these is with a vendor like Fossil. They have a great product with a great warranty. But we had a client who couldn't afford them and we did reverse prints on clear lexan with a pvc backer mounted to a stand fabricated from pressure treated. They lasted a long time.
