Yeah just seam it along the white part under the truck. If you stick it on one piece, you end up needing to slice in from the edge a couple inches to relieve the hump.
The spider stakes look a lot nicer. 18x24 will work with the spider stakes but if it's windy they do lean. They have shorter metal rods. Short signs like 14"H or less work great with spider stakes. Maybe get a couple and let them decide which ones they want.
Put the wave on first. Trim the backing paper on the swish at the part that overlays the wave. Put half the swish on, let the other half lay on top of the wave. Hand cut the wave with an xacto. Then stick the other half of the swish on.
Did you change the cap tops when you changed the heads? Did you try shaking the ink pouch? Do you see any air in the ink lines? What if you print uni-directional, is it any better?
