is this just that you see smoking as a bad habit and not needed.
how do you handle bathroom breaks or grabbing a soda.
are they falling behind on their work cause of it.
sounds like a pretty small price to pay for happy productive employees
you could offer a company provided stop smoking offer...
the heads on these printers are a changable consumable item. they are not known to have a long life span.
its possible you broke on and it dumped all of its ink.
its also possible you cracked an ink supply line. i would double check your ink lines for any kind of damage. also check your carriage...
i think there is a clear division between waste and scrap.
i suck at running something so i wasted 500 sheets learning how to run it. so i will bill the customer for those 500 sheets.
vs i had to use x to make y exactly how you wanted it. so your being billed for the x i had to use.
i think it would be easier to epoxy the ground with a big no smoking zone graphic on it. no one will even pay attention no matter what they do unless they position a smoking patrol officer out there to tell them they are not supposed to do that there.
i went from a mutoh to a hp 360.
i havent powered up the mutoh since.
i do mostly vehicle graphics. and its been pretty flawless for me.
i would recommend going up a model and getting the 365. you get a little bit more features. like the material cut off. its nice you hit a button and it cuts...
the color on my hp stays pretty much the same over time, but it does change slightly.
when i have to color calibrate my reflective or window perf i just load my standard vinyl and use that to calibrate with.
keeps everything at the same base line
i have used a base like those. not sure of the brand. but they was just black long triangles that bolted together through the substrate
i tried foamcore but had to switch to something with a metal core.
the foam wasn't ridged enough to stand up right with out waving around a lot or bending way...
if your saying its pealing back when you load it causing issues.
its an easy fix
hp sent a big plastic piece to aid in loading
but for me this was just to odd to work with
i simply apply a long strip of masking tape to the lead edge folded over front to back before i load
and always advance my...
i dont know. i do loads of different lettering packages and wraps. the number of my wrapped vehicles is growing to the point i out source the installations. even with that if i was to release all my work into the market at once for installs. i could keep every installer in town busy for 2...
ok my guess is its one of 2 things.
watch your material run, is it bunching up in the print zone like the vac is not pulling it down
the other might be a bad cable issue where the head is getting a poor signal
if its vertical i would check your material feed or heaters. look over your pinch rollers
horizontal is usually in the print system. vertical is usually in the feed system
i would never consider competing with these people.
i would assume they have no real physical location and almost zero overhead.
no real quality and no real concern for anyone but making money.
