i have had the same issue from time to time. a system restart and cleaing out the work folder usally fixes it for me. can you do a software reinstall.
sounds like a setting somewhere went weird on you or a file got corrupted.
is it trying to read them. do you have the arms system printing the same kind of marks the cutter is looking for?
is it finding some of them but not all of them.

if you go into your hard drive and into your onyx folder and find the work folder, you could have a bad file in there.
i would clean out a lot of your older jobs
make sure your computer hard drive isnt full. if it cant build a new file it will fault out like that

most clients know what they want. and if its a bid job they have very tight specs and even down to which brand of which material printed their way.

your cmyk mix will always be wrong. your machine wants and needs to use the lc lm colors to build your cmyk color.
you have to find out if your machine even can support special ink colors. the rip can be forced to do anything you want. the machine will be where your bigger problem is.

for me its really on a logo to logo basis. some its not even a factor, others it really looks off one way or the other. i always use the does it look right standard..
you want to buy a few sheets of avery label stock and a color desktop printer. if you wanted to do millions in a run then you could look at a color copier or digital color production press. but a desk top printer will let you do thousands a day
