i have a 60" cutter and i mostly run 30 inch material. but my printer runs 54" so its very handy to have.

that would be awesome. there are other things that could cause your issues also. like the feed calibration, but that would effect all colors.

i would also look at your profile. i can print on pretty much anything with a 4-6 pt font with no issues even if i go down to 300dpi on 6 pass on paper

my guess is your black head needs a good cleaning

you could try to uninstall the port driver and reinstall it and see if that helps

your usb driver could be corrupted or the physical port could be failing

make sure your designing it with a spot color and the spot color needs to be named CutContour. typed exactly how you have it in your quick set. this color needs to be a separate line in your design file. your pdf trim box that you have checked will cut a box around your media file size, not...

and depending on which rip your using you can adjust the color to only cyan also

it could be some kind of issue where its not compatible with a piece of hardware. some obscure little bit of data going all wrong.
