  1. Window Perf Problem

My 2cents exactly. + are you certain it was 290f? Not that your problem here has anything to do with it being optically clear or not, just curious. Personally window perf is not my favorite thing to work with. If customer wanst it we use it, of course... but we are diligent about matching...
  2. Sprinter...yikes!

Colorado. Some days I love you. Seriously, and this is one of them. 1/2 the stuff that comes out of your mouth I want to reply with but you already beat me to it. The other days (that I don't love you), I think you have had a really sh!tty day and the filter that is often on your keyboard to...
  3. Job Board

Signvox does have a Job Board. I'm surprised Kevin hasn't been on here yet to chime in. We started using it full-time Sept. 1st. As in I started enforcing , "you don't have a choice - if it happens inside this building it starts and ends with SignVox." From this time forward. The job board...

  6. GS6000 vs. the new Seiko W-64s

What profile are you using for the bantex 180z.? Do they have a canned profile at 720 4pass? We use 720 4 pass for all banner. Try printing at 30 30 30 for heat and slowly go up until it starts to buckle on you. I think we print it at 43 38 50 with good results.

  9. How do you find good employees?

Finding/keeping decent production help is very difficult. If anyone finds a secret to this they could sell there methods and become wealthy. As to the "references" thing... ditto on the fact that the world we live in has pretty much made "references" useless. Say the wrong thing about a past...
  10. GS6000 vs. the new Seiko W-64s

Really looking forward to your input as you move along with it. I'm considering trying to find a used jv33 to replace a jv3 to go along with our gs6000. Make sure that you, the install tech, whoever... levels and measures that the infeed roll and take up reel are both level to the platen, each...
  11. motorhome graphics..any tips?

Only possible way to do this is to have him agree to being charged by the hour for removal. Also a sign-off on the potential problems stated above. So essentially your customer would have to decide how badly they want their graphics changed. Maybe he really wants it done. Treat it as two...
  12. Geek Wraps Squeegee's?

We use the Geek Wrap ones. Yes they are expensive. No doubt. However I feel they are a superior tool and my guys agree. DO NOT use on clear transfer tape.

  20. Panel length issues

I have the Epson. I have not specifically noticed any problems with size. Whether it's panels for a semi trailer, or 10 identical sign panels. Any size issue we have is typically human interaction if we happen upon it. I will tell you that the EPSON and the JV33 are two different machines as...
