The Gerber pinout is a standard Serial cable, no jumpers in the hoods, etc. I would use only one of the cables (parallel to parallel or the Serial 9 to 25 pin). I can't offer any more help then that. Oh, it is a Mutoh

What cable are you using - I assume it's a 9 pin to 25 pin standard cable.

Not having one of those around any more I THINK it uses a subset of HPGL commands. The Gerber software uses the com port with settings of 9600,n,8,1. I hope that is some help.

Try installing the latest Windows Explorer (version 8 at least) this usually delivers many system components needed by other apps. I'm sure somewhere this is in out "minimum" requirements.

The ocx file is suppose to me "registered" with the system and it sounds like it is not. Create an shortcut on your desktop to "C:\Windows\System32\regsvr32.exe" this is the system registration app. With file manager (Windows Explorere) find the ocx file which should be in the Gerber...

Are you cutting with Flexi, then guess what, it's a software or user problem. Knowing the inside of an Envision there is no way it will cut one than once if the data was sent once.

The problem with any USB to Serial cable is in the driver. Windows has programming functions that we use to communicate with the cutters via the computer's COMx: ports. When you install a USB to Serial a virtual COM port is created and "should" function just like a normal COM port. The problem...

Import the image, select it, go to the Fill Image dialog and select a higher resolution. It also sounds like your default is set to "template" for the image so also select either Spot or Process color in the same Fill Image dialog.
