First test print looked like a cable issue. They are cheap enough so just replace them if you can. Check both F2 and F3 fuses and replace if necessary. One will be blown. Check resistance the C4131 and A1746 transistors.
Double check cables seated properly and power it up. Get the compressor...

If the capping station height isn't adjusted correctly, the carriage wont be pulled across enough for the heads to be aligned. Follow instructions on page 151
Spend the $500 for a new head and keep hold of it..They were the work horse that purchased many a home and vehicle. Its a cutter as well and is still the best for making stickers..
