    I use felt too, but it still will leave light scratches. If they are bad you can always hit it with a heat gun, not too much, just enough for the scratches to disappear.

    I always just save the file as an eps and it works. I've never had solid luck with cut files in a pdf. sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.
