The "cheap" caps are made cheaper. The rubber seals aren't as good as the Roland ones. And that is the most important part of the cap. It needs to keep a good seal on the head.
So if it's too hard of a rubber (cheap) and has no give like the Roland ones do...it won't do it's job as well and...
Paying a lot for what? They've matched or beat any quote I've brought to the table for materials and inks.
Next day free shipping from any of 5 warehouses around me.
What products are you "paying alot" for? wrap magnets? Big Squeegee? Yellow Tools Stool?
Vinyl and Ink have been identical on...
Yeah. What were we thinking...wrapping vans in panels. All we need is a laptop with Arlon Videos playing and we can do it ourselves in single panels.
You sir...are AWESOME!
Thank you so much. This wrap community is so lucky that you chose to skim through this thread today and give us the SILVER...
Stuff that size can't get through the head nozzles. I would say it's contaminated vinyl and one more question...is your heat turned almost all the way up on your print & dryer settings?
It looks like pooling which can happen if you are running it on glossy substrates with no heat and especially...
Are you really letting a $300 at most difference in material cost force you to spend twice as much time installing and dislike your craft?
If you can pump out the job faster and get to more money making jobs...it's a no brainer.
That's just silly if you think about it. Look at the overall...
Every time my head carriage goes back into the housing and hits the capping station latch that moves it up to the heads...it sounds way louder than it used to.
The office is just as quite and loud as usual...but I'm noticing it way more than I remember.
I vaguely remember a tech saying something...
As for "just above cost"...I suppose it was a subjective enough and open to interpretation claim. So, sorry for calling B.S. (not name calling)
$3.50 vs $2.25 is $700 vs $450. If that is just above cost for you...my mistake.
You just had some of our hopes up on an awesome wholesaler.
I was...
I've never had that problem because the panels I send to the rip (versaworks) already has the overlap in them.
BUT I like the solution of just reprinting the middle panels on each side...rather than a think strip between each panel.
Wrong! Wrong! Wrong!
Copyright Law 101 should be it's own thread in this Forum.
Just because someone doesn't have a watermark/copyright mark on artwork or design doesn't mean it's free "range" (you mean rein) on duplication.
Even if the customer paid ABCDesign Shop to create it.
The creator of...
By having an opinion on what works and what doesn't isn't exactly the same as comparing Picasso (I don't like his style either) to other painters.
Layout Design has rhyme, reason, and purpose. Artistic painting is more subjective. Layouts on vehicles have "marketing value" and have a very short...
Been running Solaris 440 carts in my VP540 for years without those 2 issues.
I've even milked the last bit of ink from them in a bind by opening them and folding over the pouch and taping rolled up paper towel in it (like rolling up a tube of tooth paste.
It never reads as (full) when it's not...
Laminating non printed...optional and not a common sense issue.
Laminating printed reflective...is a common sense issue.
Reporting that sales rep to a supervisor for being offensive and insulting...common sense issue.
