  1. Getting bad cuts when attempting to cut through backing

Well today I experimented. I printed a sheet of decals on 6 mil vinyl, at the end of the day I laminated it with some cheap laminate. Then I put it in my Graftec cutter, added about 50% more pressure and it started to cut light so I added a little more pressure and it was cutting great with one...
  2. Looking for an entry level 24-32" Cutter?

Ebay has great deals too. I bought a Graftec 160, 60" cutter and it still had a year left of warranty on it. Warranty ran out but the cutter is still cutting all day every day 16 months later, its bullet proof.
  3. Getting bad cuts when attempting to cut through backing

#1: Stop guessing at pressure settings of doing multiple cuts on top of each other. Another way to cut down decals is to do a inner kiss cut and a outer straight cut and let the end user seperate the decal from the backer. (See photos attached) You can print on the background or not. Make the...

Try a different type of media. If it prints good on Gloss or Matte finish vinyl, it could be Static, Temperature or even the head height.
  11. Need Help Single Color Head Issue

Ive had a simular problem with a one month old New Magenta head on my Seiko W-64. Tried all kinds of cleanings with no luck. Every one said it was an ink flow problem. So I switched the Magenta head over to the Black head position and the problem carried over. The head was misfireing. Purchased...

Going Thicker gives the consumer a perception of value. Thicker is better in their eyes.
  17. Cutting Magnetic material

Cant agree with Don McCormick 100%. I print directly to the magnetic material with a Roland and they are not Fuzzy (see samples in photo attached) and I only loose less than 20 individule pieces. I get a good 600 - 3.5×5.0 magnets from a 30" × 50' roll. I cut them all on a Graphtec FC2250.
