flora, aojet, and cet are all the same printer right down to the fuses and number of allen bolts. (the sticker on the front is different) that design is so solid and tried and tested. i can't come up with much of a rationalization for experimentation with equipment.

a data swap would show if the head is bad or not. if this tech does change the head, HANG ON TO IT!... there's an 80% chance that it is fine. i'd be suspicious of any tech that doesn't actually diagnose the printer. we'd never settle for that with a car. "well sir, let me start switching...

before switching the head, do a damper swap, a data swap, ...you can even do cap top swaps and pump tube swaps on some models. heads can be proven or dis-proven to be the cause of an issue. there's not "guess it's the head" in printer repair.

the different colors are all chemically, exactly the same. any contamination will be color only and go away in a few minutes. there's no other way to isolate this issue without doing a damper swap.

depends on what you're trying to remove. buytl cellosolve will get inside a sticky pressure sensitive adhesive and turns it into boogers of rubber. also it has no cutting ability so you can wipe it on just about anything.
