  1. Dont skip lunch ever again on an install..

Yeah! I've really gotten into Homerun Inn, it's like a thin Chicago style. Good stuff!
  2. Dont skip lunch ever again on an install..

No joke....almost as bad as the Pineapple Pizza nazis. Pizza is not pizza without pineapple. Period. Discuss.

  4. Here's an ugly one....

Any ideas? Looks a bit stretched maybe?
  5. Post and Panel kits

Thanks Jeff, I remember seeing ads for those. I ended up setting up an account with 4ever products, their pricing for sign shops is very good. I too wondered about the PVC fencing and if that would be a viable option. I may look into that, I like to make things myself too.
  6. Post and Panel kits

Nice! Looks like they have some good options. Thanks!
  7. Post and Panel kits

What are some good sources for these? I have a client looking for a sign he can setup on his job sites, but doesn't want the typical cheap real estate sign look. Trying to come up with an option that looks upscale but will be durable and fairly easy to move around. Any ideas or suggestions?
  8. Hand Carved & Gold Leafed

Thank you! It's actually carved from HDU, not wood. I did cut the shape with a jig saw, then chamfer the edges with a trim router. I use Pfeil chisels to carve the letters.

  10. Wood signage

Your clients are only requesting wood because they don't know any better. Wood was the standard for so long, that's immediately what people think of. Once you explain to them the benefits of the composite materials you'll make your job easier and deliver a better product. When I read the title...
  11. Looking to hire someone to draw this

  13. Spanish to English translation please

"Jardines" was always used where I lived in México (Yucatán), "yardas" is more american mexican but probably more widely understood and used.

Whatever you name it, make sure it's awesome!
  16. Rounded Corners on Light Boxes

This is just cutting corners...pun intended. Here's what you need to do to properly do this job: 1. Rent a lift or bucket truck. 2. Take detailed measurements (to the millimeter preferably) 3. Take high resolution photos (1200 dpi or more) of the corners from ALL angles 4. Return lift or...
  17. What do you guys prep surfaces with

90% Water, 10% Denatured alcohol and a drop or 3 of dish detergent. Application fluid and glass cleaner.
  18. Critique requested

Thanks. Yes, that's the hard part sometimes with designs like this. When does it become a logo and not just a sign layout?
  19. Critique requested

Maybe the swan doesn't have to be quite as literal...A couple quick sketches, they need polishing but might give another direction.
