  1. Just as I was ready to buy EcoSolvant here comes Latex

We bought a used 60600 and don't miss the white, light or orange inks. I guess if you get a lot of RGB original art the bigger gamut would be an advantage but we nearly always get CMYK art. We print white ink jobs on the Arizona. Having to only stock 4 colour inks is a bonus. Pretty sure the...

    What kind of printer??
  3. D50 lighting for office/printroom

  5. D50 lighting for office/printroom

We got D50 LEDs fitted when we moved into this place.
  6. Epson S60600 Ink Durability

We have a 60600 and HP360s. We don't send anything printed with Epson inks unlaminated, but only because we have the option to use latex. Latex are super scratch resistant. The eco sol inks do mark easily with the edge of your fingernail. Some other eco sol users may have a different opinion.
  7. Onyx resizing files

We're on Thrive 12. In your quicksets there's an option to "reduce size to fit page". Once deselected it will keep the job in the queue until you either tile it or find a larger roll/sheet.
  8. Streaking / Banding?

Probably too much ink if you don't have a proper profile for that media. Dark greens will show that the most. Does everything look too dark or just about right? If it doesn't look too dark overall it might be faulty media.

  10. Epson Printers

We've had a 60600 for about a year bought 2nd hand. We had one persistent nozzle out and had the head replaced under warranty so service can't be beat. One nozzle out made no difference to print quality anyway. It's a reliable, fast accurate printer. If you're used to ecosol output you will love...
  11. Need Help At what Ink level do you replace your ink

We let them run right out unless it's a backlit job. In that case changing carts halfway through will leave a mark.
  12. Question How many here share this................................................

Present one didn't, last one did. First one didn't. I did say to the one that took my name if you hate me so much give me back my friggin name.
  13. How do you update your customers on order status?

We're using Corebridge. You can set it up to automatically email clients with updates as their job progresses through the system. I don't want to bombard them with emails so we just notify them when the job is finished and ready for collection. It works well and you don't have to remember to...
  14. Onyx postershop unable to read size from printer

Hit and miss for me. I usually just enter media type and roll width manually.
  15. Vanguard VK300D vs Canon Océ Arizona 2260 XT flatbeds.

Oce are bringing out LED flatbeds now if the lamp life is an issue. The mercury vapour lamps in our 660 are rated at 500 hours but we typically get far more.
  16. Need Help Summa S2 Class 160T OPOS Camera keeps stopping

I think you can recalibrate the sensor. Check the manual.
  17. Please convert all fonts when creating your pdf's

Good luck getting designers to follow your instructions. Best to just learn to deal with whatever comes in unless the art really is unusable.
  18. File Sharing and Data Transfer Methods. Which is best?

Exactly. We have a raid10 Qnap with an external HD we backup to every night, swapping the backups off site every couple of days. I got sloppy with the backups then a couple of months ago the Qnap wouldn't boot up so heart attack time..
  19. Question Die cut stickers! What media is best for an HP Latex 360 or Canon iPF 8400s

Latex printer for stickers for sure. You don't need to laminate them in a lot of cases. Scratch resistance is great and there is no edge curl.
