Wrap that was printed late 2019 just got installed. Installer said it went on with no issues just like all the others. It was stored in climate controlled space on a roll and covered with plastic. YMMV
Interns or temp agency. Last place I worked for stopped trying to direct hire. Too many HR headaches. Easier to find a temp and if they worked out offer them a full time gig.
For wind load specs check with your city's engineering department. Wind load for my location is 30 pounds per square foot. They will also have soil specs which are equally as important. When I was still doing those types of signs I way overbuilt. Always went the next size up for posts then set...
If you're not using a printer much just sub out your prints. I sub stuff out all the time and have a 64" printer that gets used regularly. Things I don't get much call for get subbed out.
I disagree with your statement. Media is all agenda driven. Real news died decades ago. You're probably too young to remember the days when journalism and finding the truth mattered.
I agree with Jester. Probably in the ribbon cables. They are a consumable. I replaced them on my SP540V not long before I sold it. Easy job, just tedious. My wife has small hands so I had her fish the cables through to the boards. Not sure wht the 640 looks like with the cover off but I'm...
Got a mutoh/HP/Roland dealer with technician in your town? Buy from them even if it costs more. Learned an extremely expensive lesson by not doing that. I agree with IPrintStuff. Until you get a tech on site you're looking at an expensive brick.
Not gonna happen on your budget. You don't want to let the printers idle either. For limited use I would look at laser printers for the t-shirt market. Still in the thousands of dollars for a decent set up.
Probably get better answers by joining a t-shirt forum.
Cheap vinyl template of the man.
Apply cheap vinyl template to 1/2" MDF.
Cut carefully around cheap vinyl template with fine tooth jig saw blade.
If needed touch up any areas so they fit the cheap vinyl template.
Use carpet tape(double sided) and stick the MDF to your substrate.
Buy a really...
I use wrap material. For the extra bump in cost I know I'm delivering a quality product and don't have to worry about shrinking, peeling etc...
Of course if the trailer is a roach and not long for this world go cheap but discuss it with the client.
Yeah I could have done that but my new Mutoh came with Flexi so I just paid the bump for a fully unlocked version and loaded on a new PC. I've run lots of RIP's but for me Flexi is about the simplest one out there. Worlds ahead of Rasterlink, or Onyx but that's just my opinion. YMMV
Yup, Ridgid is the only one worth it. Runs 30+ minutes on a charge of butane. Battery op ones last about 5 minutes. Running a resistance heater on battery power alone is brutal.
Keep checking the web and Home Depot for deals. I got mine for $109 delivered and it included a 5 amp hour...
Look in the classifieds. Someone is selling their permanent Flexi Pro license. Honestly that's the way to go. Buy it and be done with subscriptions. If my old computer wouldn't have died I'd still be using Flexi Pro 8.6. Just like anything there is a learning curve but you will get used to...
