  1. Anyone else affected...?

Yeah, I can't imagine just simply losing everything except what you're wearing. They said the community is being extremely generous, so that's good. Here's a picture of where the condos used to be:
  2. Anyone else affected...?

This is my brother (the bald dude) in this video. Their condos caught on fire on Saturday. It apparently started with a brush fire and spread to the condos. He got the kids out and his wife was at the store, but they lost everything - clothes, videos, photos, wedding & engagement rings, cash -...
  3. Replacing signs mounted with anti-theft bolts

Good catch. On a drive rivet, the center pin can just be punched through and then the rivet can be pried out.
  4. Replacing signs mounted with anti-theft bolts

They're pretty pricey. You might want to pick up some from Harbor Freight. Their good for throw away stuff like you're doing / if you don't use them a lot. Then again, a regular bit will work. Not sure why I specified a step bit.
  5. Identify Installation Hardware

Pretty sure it's a rocker from an LS1.:Big Laugh JK... There are lots of I beam clamps from the various maunufactures...maybe replace that with one that's easier to find...?
  6. Replacing signs mounted with anti-theft bolts

Drill out the back side of the post with a step bit large enough to access the nut.
  7. SDS Drill..................

My advice was based on the 3/16" holes Gino was asking about. That being said, a few months ago I installed approximately 200 stadium seats. An average of three 1/4" anchors per chair. Me and one other guy drilled the holes - 1/4" x 3". We worked next to each other and while I had to switch out...
  8. SDS Drill..................

SDS uses impact and BPM. What does torque have to do with anything? Are you missing the fact that I've used both and posted a video showing my CORDLESS DeWalt keeping up with a CORDED Hilti? The Rolls Royce/Mini comparison is ridiculous. Compare the tools. You didn't answer any of the...
  9. SDS Drill..................

Sorry, but that's absurd. Better accuracy? How?? Prove it. I've never had a problem with accuracy and like I said, I've drilled thousands of holes in just the past few months. I've also used both Hilti and DeWalt doing so. Less fatigue? Prove it. What are you basing that on? I can drill...
  10. SDS Drill..................

Not to be argumentative, but my cordless dewalt either keeps up with or comes extremely close to keeping up with any of the corded versions for what Gino is looking to do (3/16" holes...will go larger 1/2" or > holes with little effort). The Bosch or DeWalt corded versions are excellent quality...
  11. SDS Drill..................

Gino, not sure if you have existing cordless system(s) or not? That might have some impact in your decision. As fas as cordless, I've heard nothing but good things about the Bosch Bulldog. If you're going to get a corded model, I would get that or the DeWalt. Specs are similar, DeWalt is $20...
  12. Large Sign Cabinet

    ABC up in Ft. Collins
  13. Floor graphic 10' x 20'

You'd probably have to overlap the laminate, but I believe Gigantic Color down here can print on 16' wide material. What material is available in that width though, I don't know.
  14. Some basic vinyl care/shipping questions...

Thank you for your response. The premask used in this case is a 3M product with "low-tack" adhesive. I'm assuming that has something to do with it separating from the vinyl.
  15. Some basic vinyl care/shipping questions...

Scenario: Large project, hundreds of 5'h x 3'w vinyl graphics are being rolled up on a tube and shipped to installers. Issue 1: The vinyl was rolled onto the tubes but not taped down, causing it to come slightly unrolled during shipping. This in turn caused some of the premask and/or carrier...
  16. Carpet Cleaning logo

    4 or 5, leaning toward 5. I don't like the background shape though (haha...JK).
  17. Beer Company Logo

Awesome work. That begs to be made into so many different types of signs (carved, illuminated, etc.). Bravo!
  18. Gemini letter pricing...

You could order the 'U' for about $10.
  19. Sliding rear windows

    Very nice.:thumb:
