Good catch. On a drive rivet, the center pin can just be punched through and then the rivet can be pried out.

They're pretty pricey. You might want to pick up some from Harbor Freight. Their good for throw away stuff like you're doing / if you don't use them a lot. Then again, a regular bit will work. Not sure why I specified a step bit. :Sleeping:

Not to be argumentative, but my cordless dewalt either keeps up with or comes extremely close to keeping up with any of the corded versions for what Gino is looking to do (3/16" holes...will go larger 1/2" or > holes with little effort). The Bosch or DeWalt corded versions are excellent quality...

Gino, not sure if you have existing cordless system(s) or not? That might have some impact in your decision. As fas as cordless, I've heard nothing but good things about the Bosch Bulldog. If you're going to get a corded model, I would get that or the DeWalt. Specs are similar, DeWalt is $20...

You'd probably have to overlap the laminate, but I believe Gigantic Color down here can print on 16' wide material. What material is available in that width though, I don't know.

Thank you for your response. The premask used in this case is a 3M product with "low-tack" adhesive. I'm assuming that has something to do with it separating from the vinyl.

Scenario: Large project, hundreds of 5'h x 3'w vinyl graphics are being rolled up on a tube and shipped to installers. Issue 1: The vinyl was rolled onto the tubes but not taped down, causing it to come slightly unrolled during shipping. This in turn caused some of the premask and/or carrier...
