We use a coroplast sled to web up our laminator, whether it's with laminate or premask. You can re-use it for a while until it gets too thick/heavy then just throw it out and use a new one. You definitely don't want too much pressure OR tension on the premask when running it through. If...

I would also wager a guess that UV might be the only method that would work, given the fact that it will essentially cure on top of anything. The silicone/waxy finish is NOT just "normal paper". I'll give it a go when I get a chance and see if it will work on our flatbed or Mimaki UCJV.

We use 3M 40C, which prints and installs really nice, but can't say much about removability. It does technically have removable adhesive, but anything that bonds well enough to hold up is likely to pull paint with it when removed, especially when crappy paints are used.

Could you use an air-release vinyl when mounting to the remaining defective sheets? I would think a quick pass with a squeegee should get rid of those nasty rashes.
