  1. Quarter board

Very nice. If you haven't glued everything up yet, maybe you could remove all the pocketed elements and apply a cut vinyl mask and brush away. Or just brush it freehand if you are able. That sign really looks like it needs some leaf though. Welcome to S101!
  2. Free Japanese Vector Designs

I saw a link in the description about buying the full version, so I assumed even though it looked liked there was lots of images for free, that there were more (for a fee) if you are further interested. But maybe I am wrong too, I dunno.

  4. Making a Lightbox for a backlite sign?

Regarding building your own, for your own use. Don't break any laws, but go ahead. Reverse engineer a current, known good assembly. I did, many years ago, as my first lighted sign. I was in a rented facility and didnt own a damn thing, had nothing to lose, and was too young to be worried about...
  5. City to pay 300K for blocking sign

I'd be thrilled if they built a bridge for the patrons to access my restaurant from the other side of the highway. Customers on foot don't take up parking lot space, rarely come alone, don't jam up the drive-thru, probably stay a little longer and even buy desert. But anyway...... McDonalds...
  6. Stilts anyone???????

I actually learned what a Hemato is from a Little Giant ladder once and havent climbed on one of them since that incident. Please you guys, double check those latches before use. I am not recommending you do it, cause you might bust your butt. I have installed signs, painted stripes, and...

  8. Ipad as a business photo portfolio...

ALL great advice. Thanks very much. I'm up and running already!
  9. Ipad as a business photo portfolio...

I purchased an Ipad with one of my main reasons being that they claimed it was awesome for viewing photographs on. I agree, that photos do look great, load quickly, etc. I remember a couple others on here also had Ipads and maybe someone here has a solution to this issue I am having. I can't...
  10. Update on Arlo

Be strong Dave. We are prying for you to get yourself back home as quickly as possible.
  11. HersheyPark

I was there too, about a week ago. I noticed the same. Lots of really good design work. Fonts worked really well, and Stoner obviously is a very capable company. I was kinda let down that most of signs inside the park gates were simply flat printed, contour cut shapes though. No one else with...
  12. Anyone missing a Boat?

Didnt this same thing happen a year or so ago on the same stretch of beach? Unless I'm dreaming.
  13. Thinking about buying Cyrious Software

Ummm, if you sell Sign-Tracker, I think we can say that but you can't unless you are already a MM here. I vote for Quicken also.
  14. Sign friends and musicians.... will this work?

We have installed Armstrong Soundsoak panels in several home theater rooms. It would be a more permanent solution rather than a demountable one but you might get some ideas by netsearching that. They are affordable and they have many nice fabric designs.
  15. unethical vendors

Flip that rock over man. Name them. ...just read to PM, and thats a good idea, sorry.
  16. A lawyer and a senior citizen

  17. How do I copy from one computer to another ?

    Very cool.. Thanks!
  18. City of Los Angeles now citing business owners for putting name and hours on window

You know where this is headed... This thread is probably gonna be in NHB within the next few posts now. I just cut a check for a little over $2300 for a non-lighted sign permit.
  19. Another odd ball project we did this week

You really deserve it man. Your work is always top quality. I'm sure others here are the same, but if I see a post started by you down a long list, I will jump right to it just to see what the latest creation is. ...Hats off!
