You know, I don't mind a politician subbing printing out to somebody out of town if they are significantly cheaper.....it's just smart business. What ticks me off is when they don't even bother to let local companies bid on the job.

Point is are they doing it legally? No. Are they going to get caught and sued? Probably not. Do thousands and thousands of businesses do it? Absolutely. Is it hurting your business in any way? Doubt it.
You can cut .125" styrene by scoring it once with an x-acto knife and bending it. It will snap right through. The wall cutter won't have any trouble at all.
That said....styrene will last outdoors for weeks. Sunlight breaks it down really quickly. It turns yellow and gets ridiculously...

Go to Effects....outline. Set the pop up box to inline and make the inline.
CTRL+SHIFT+O to convert to outlines. Move the original type off to the side.
