I have realised what you've done with out paying attention to what exactly you're doing.
And yes you've answered your own issue. printing CMYK+S will mix the Spot channel with the patches. I completely didn't realise you're printing it as a CMYKSS as generally that's not something you'd do with...
Open media manager.
go to - configure colour sampling devices
press manage
pick or add your device and press setup.
and go readings per patch. press 1. or if it's one 1 already, press 2
See if that works.
I've got a GFX50s. I originally was going to get the hasselblad X1D but lens selection and the hasselblad does't work as well in the "field" for me as i like the physical buttons and shortcuts i can have.
The GFX100 is far to big for my liking although the sensor would be amazing.
Having said...
I can see where it would come in handy. I know ps vs AIGigaPixel in how it renders the image. but still apples to apples when it comes to overall enlarging quality.
With my camera ect i dont get a huge benefit as i shoot medium format. i can see it benefiting some images from clients.
Probably...
This gets my attention.
I generally enlarge my images via photoshop with their image size tool and it does a great job reprocessing images. (ALT+CTRL+I)
How does AIGigaPixel stackup with PS?
Interesting request for a 100mp image. There's only 3 cameras i know of with a 100mp sensor.
hasselblad h6d-100c
Phase one XF IQ3
Fuji Film GFX100 (not released yet)
I fell like your asking for to much considering what is currently available?
Your A7RII should produce a photo with high enough...
OH i see what's going on.
The printer is generating its own ICC profiles from the built in software and uploads it to onyx.
That's why you cant edit it. Onyx wont edit profiles not create by onyx
i1 pro will work for any printer. rigid or roll media. the i1i0 will work for automation but with rigid, you'd need to cut the media to fix the table.
The basic pro, yes you'll only be able to build profiles on onyx.
Publish, No it's no a 1 step process, you still need to go though the onyx...
Id only get the flatbed cutter if you only do soft stuff like xboad, foamboard, corrugated plastic and so on.
If there's acrylics, and more rigid stuff. cnc router. make sure the cnc router has the knife attachement also.
As already stated, Depending on your printer and materials and budget.
Most people will get away using this:
Xrite i1 pro. You dont need to get the whole package as you only need the ruler and device as onyx is your software.
If you want automation, Xrite has the Isis which is good only for...
Will give them a call. Thanks for that.
This looks similar but better than the leister hemtek st. will look into it. Thanks
Already thinking of a table 2m long, Roll feed on one end and, i could have a manual take up roll.
We mostly outsource the hemming, but manually punch in the eyelets. As we're getting more and more banners ect, we're looking at doing it all in house.
Is there any recommendations for banner hemming/welding machines? and also eyeletting?
We're doing multiple meter banners, i.e 10-50m...
Woah hold up.
you're saying that risk scratching the print heads with the suction but you'd wipe with a microfiber cloth??
you risk damaging the head more with the microfiber as you're physically touching the nozzles.
The suction nozzle does not touch the physical print heads. if you have dirt...
