Sorry for the bad pix.
I will drive out to the farm to get a better photo once the sign is installed.
This was VERY intimidating for me to paint a combine and a quad tractor.
The client had inquired with a few sign companies and they wanted to just slap a photo of a combine on his sign...not...
Luckily this seems pretty fresh.
I go from the "high" of just having a customer tickled pink to pick up a hand painted sign to now dealing with plastic fantastic.
Thanks again. I do remember the last time I got polycarb that it was rolled up.
And the acrylic I bought had a brown masking that was delightful to remove.
I'll unmask these today and cut the vinyl tomorrow.
Hmmm. It sounds neither! Just glad that either side is OK to use. Thanks.
The masking is the same on both sides.
I loathe this type of sign.
Customer bought a used sign from CL and wanted me to strip the faces...I sent him to Laird Plastics.
I have to apply translucent vinyl to two sheets of substrate a customer got at Laird Plastics.
I dunno what it is exactly. It's white plastic but whether it is polycarb, Lexan, acrylic or whatever is not obvious.
It's masked with a tan masking that reads TG MASKING by PLASTIKOTE.
My question...
There were no Hostess products left at my local grocery store yesterday.
I did, however, manage to snag a loaf of Town Talk bread for those turkey sandwiches later this week.
I don't like Twinkies but I will miss Ho Hos. Little Debbies or Tastykakes are just not the same.

I just make a simple map using lines.
Here's an example from two old bizcard backs.
Much easier to do and I think it looks cleaner than some imported map.

I actually agree with them.
That flower looks like something for a quilt.
A rose would be more appropriate as well as a nice script.
Yours is very masculine looking.

It's all just kind of hanging there like pieces of furniture on different corners of a room.
Add an area rug (a background shape) to pull then all together.

I don't install signs.
I do sub out an installer and get their price first, then I write that right into the proposal.
It's all part of doing business.
I just finished up a job where the install was only $50 cheaper than the actual cost of the signs (over $1400)
If it wasn't for the installer, I...
If I have to go out to a site to measure, etc. and it's further than 25 miles out, I will charge a trip fee of $25. If they hire me, I will deduct that from the price of the job.
Of course, if it was more than 100 miles I would charge the equivalent of a tank of gas.
But that never happens to...
