That is a chart referencing PROMOTIONAL vinyls. Next.
  2. Using 3m Ij35 On Vehicles?

Please provide documentation stating this. 3M says this nowhere that I can find.
  3. Using 3m Ij35 On Vehicles?

Depends what you're doing with it. We use it, and have for years (IJ35C) for lots of car graphics. It is perfectly fine for print and cut logos, etc, on cars or trucks. Good for up to 5 years, with laminate, and have had zero issue. No I would not wrap a car, or partial wrap even, with it, but...
  4. Panel Size/Layout Box Truck

Depends on what width vinyl you run, and how much waste you want to eliminate. I run 54" mostly, And I would probably run those at 50" wide (with 1/2" overlaps), and the last foot and half of each side I'd nest together. And make that last short piece the very back panel on each side.

  8. Question windshield eyebrow template

    1. You never specified a certain vehicle till now. 2. Best way to do this is get some butcher paper or pounce paper, lay it across the windshield and trace the contour of the top of the windshield. Take a photo of it laying flat on the floor (the paper, not you) and plop that in your design...
  9. Question windshield eyebrow template

You do realize EVERY car is different?
  10. business cards

Used to do the same thing at my previous shop....it was nice for a while, but it turned into a nightmare dealing with 4over and getting cards in that the colors were off, cutting was bad, etc. Relying on someone else's quality and turnaround ended up not working out and we stopped offering them...
  11. Question Window Perf around Rear Windshield Wiper

I usually remove the wiper, which leaves just the post with a rubber surround usually. I tape up the perf in place, and where the post sticks in to it, I cut a small hole, or just mark with a Stabilo. Then I measure the rubber trim around the wiper post, and go back to the table with the perf...
  12. looking at buying a Roland SC-545Ex SolJet II opinions on it?

Used to run one. Great printer, required minor daily upkeep (manual head cleaning/ink station cleaning/etc). But traded it in for our 2nd HP Latex and realized how much time even that little maintenance took. I would seriously invest in new tech, a new printer, instead of buying a 10-12 year old...
  13. Steampunk Sign Examples Please

You say that like it's a bad thing.
  14. Oracal 631 one day vehicle wrap

OOOH....missed the film part. Well then....don't know what to say then. Someone needs to pony up for good vinyl then.
  15. Oracal 631 one day vehicle wrap

631 is a horrible choice to wrap anything. You can do it, but you're not gonna have fun. Doesn't conform or stretch like wrap purposed vinyl. You never said what the color needed is. For just a photoshoot and not leaving it on after? I'd spend the money on a Photoshop guru and just have the...
  16. Vinyl Cutter for pop rollup banners

worktable, long straightedge and Xacto is the basic setup. The big purple ruler with attachable cutter is preferred, and what we use here.
  17. Would your shop take this wrap job?

    In a word, No.
  18. Roland Ink Scam?

I assume you run your print vinyl down to the last inch, never throwing away any leftover ends, huh?
  19. Best vinyl for sailboat lettering?

We pretty much do all boat lettering, vehicle lettering and such on 3M 180CV3....print and cut. Can do so much more with one layer of printed vinyl; drop shadows, beveled edges, multiple colors, etc. Laminate with 3M8518. But if they strictly want one color, simple stuff, Oracal 751 or 951.
