  1. Third Issue With Our L560

I looked at mine...it is warped. But hard to tell if any bending is putting it back in shape. Seems to me these magnets are very weak. I may try to replace those with a couple stronger ones.
  2. Third Issue With Our L560

The machine was bowed? Or you mean just the door? I'll look in to that.
  3. Third Issue With Our L560

Anyone else have problems with the curing door staying closed? Ours constantly falls back open....haven't had a chance to dig in and see what's keeping it from staying closed, so seeing if others have this issue. Just another frustration with this machine.
  4. GlassAdhere

I just got a roll of this stuff, saw the samples and love it...except that the liner is a bear to pull off. My question is why would you wet install this? I can't see the benefit, especially since it isn't adhesive backed and if it sticks too soon, just peel it back up.
  5. Nasty smell from printer

Nah...I've reduced the heat settings already to deal with other print issues, i.e. material warping/material jams.
  6. Nasty smell from printer

Yes that is when we smell it, while printing. Our printer room is about 10 x 16...has two printers in it. Open the door and it hits you. I'm starting to think it's something to do with that condensation remover....might be a mildew smell. Something is up. Edit: again, we can smell it on the...
  7. Nasty smell from printer

I don't know if it's the vinyl or the printer...this is happening with 3M vinyl (IJ35c and 180C) on our HP 560. When I walk in the print room it smells like warm dog sh&t on a hot day. It's really kinda nauseating. We've noticed you can still smell it a little after the prints are on the table...
  8. L25500 prints too dark - any ideas,please?

While this practice is good in a pinch with a material you use very seldom, it is never a good idea for your everyday work where color matters. That profile you downloaded for XX Brand adhesive vinyl was created by another person, with a different printer, an older ink set, in a different...
  9. Need Help Banner material question

With the same banner material he is talking about?
  10. printed metal machine signs

  11. Need Help Static With Foamcore

LOL....for real... "Help me fix my thing....it's not thinging right...."
  12. Chicago Cubs - anyone got a PMS color?

Weird...I just Googled Chicago Cubs PMS Colors and the first link is EVERY MLB color swatch.
  13. Need Help Decals sticking together

Well first I would determine why this is happening, instead of trying to separate them with something. Drying for 2 days and they stick? Your ink is not curing, or you're oversaturating the prints. Your profile may not be correct and needs ink saturation or ink limits turned down. If they are...
  14. Boy did I screw up today

That's useless when doing what he's talking about...it still has to feed everything out to read the four corners.
  15. Perforated Mirror Gold Vinyl?

May have to just plot little tiny circles in mirror gold vinyl and have a weeding party. For a large sign I bet you could do it with 1/16" diameter circles. May take forever to plot though!
  16. Need Help Window Perf

You could lay a diffuser vinyl on the back side....it would cut the light for sure. But seeing through from the other side would be eliminated.
  17. Need Help Printing on HP 360 with Flexi 12

Sounds like you didn't poll the actual media size prior to inputting the PDF file.
  18. Wall Mural Quote and Method

I would even go beyond a lift of any type and use scaffold. Especially if painting.
  19. anyone know this one

Some form of Garamond....not sure which though
  20. Using 3m Ij35 On Vehicles?

And I don't think any of my customers will be calling anyone in PA. LOL. And you missed the part where I said I have had ZERO ISSUES.
