DUDE. he was replying to the comment about TAPE. Even shows it in his comment. I swear some of you people get on here and just try to start crap without even reading what was said.

I have since dropped the temp in my profiles and watching to see what difference it makes. I guess it's helping? I don't know...I am still cautiously feeding out the material first before any print, to avoid any issues. Really sucks. Lots of wasted material.

Dumbest advice I've seen. You can print to multiple printers from one PC running a RIP....I do it all day long. Each printer has it's own IP address and should be individually plugged in to a hub, or separate jacks (in our case) that CAT cable eventuallly connects to your router or hub.

I use the built in scanner on our HP 8600 all in one, and it is plenty sufficient. I scan photos at 600-1200 dpi, depending on final output, and prints end up just fine. I would not spend the extra money unless you needed a larger format scanner, like 11x17 and up.

Don't use that tape. Use real 3M VHB foam tape.

From what I am seeing (after searching around for 79:04 solutions), my best guess right now would be to try reinstalling the firmware. Sounds like something went wonky.

LOL...an RGB printer? I don't think so. Every printer is CMYK, most actually being CMYKLcLm, or some variation of. RGB is pretty much limited to anything emitting light....your monitor, a TV, LEDs....designing in RGB is not the best thing for print. Leave that to your website design. If you want...

They might be trying to match a specific blue....hence the need to print.

I MAY HAVE FOUND THE SOLUTION. In Default Job Properties there is a new tick box....I haven't tried yet, but this sounds like it would stop the nonsense. It was checked, so I unchecked it. We'll see how it goes.

Yes I can, and have, changed the sleep time on it. Doesn't solve the problem if it is asleep. I still have to make sure it is turned on first if I wish to set up Ripped files to print later. Or just alter my method of job flow entirely and not do that. Seems all this technology should work for...

I get that. But I'm talking about NOT sending the file to print. As I said in the original post, I'm setting a file to print later, placing in Hold. Yet it still has to turn on the printer, sync whatever it needs to sync, and causes crashes. I set files up to print later on the 260 and can do...

Why wouldn't I? That's what the copies entry is for. To print multiple copies. And if I set it to print a certain way, and it SHOWS me how it will print, it should print that way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

And maybe it has to do with Flexi somehow, not sure. But I do a lot of setting up files in the RIP, putting them in HOLD to print later, or the next day. If the 560 is asleep, and I send the job to Prodcution Manager, I can't even completely get the file sent to the RIP until the printer fully...

Exactly...you're talking only a few cents more per decal. Certainly cheaper than reprinting the entire job.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is my biggest issue. I've even tried attaching a scrap leader to it, and I still have crashes. This thing runs great, IF you start with 3' of material hanging out, and let it run a BIG long job. But for running one-sie, two-sie prints, I am throwing away as much in waste as...
