  1. Sign remake

Your layout is very nice. I would only suggest that you might want to create your layout over a whited out photo of the existing sign or recreate the shape of the sign as an outline to design within. Is the lion clip art? It's rather nice. It appears to represent a prestigious organization...
  2. Metal 2'x3' screen printing needed (old lost route 66 sign)

I second Firesprint. Great people to work with. By the way, great work on a super cool sign.
  3. Thoughts on my logo? Thoughts on the name?

In response to the original post, I don't mind the name, although it's not something I would necessarily pick. For what it is, I like the logo, at least thus far. I'm curious to see a full color version of this. I would hope for a slightly more detailed dog icon and some great color that really...
  4. Thoughts on my logo? Thoughts on the name?

Hey, OldPaint. 1972 wants it's design back. Maybe you should try a more classic approach and utilize some negative space. It's not just for road signs in passing.
  5. What da font? :)

    Ben Pioneer Bold
  6. Feedback on a logo

I'll put it this way. Judging by the typeface used and the ampersand, it was similar enough that I immediately made the connection.
  7. Feedback on a logo

    Okay, more or less exactly.
  8. Feedback on a logo

https://www.tandjprintingsupply.com/mm5/images/logo.jpg Looks exactly like this one, unfortunately.
  9. We try to get more traffic usinf our phone #

I'm guessing what he's trying to say is he is using his phone number as an additional domain name in hopes that the additional web address will potentially drive more traffic to the business.
  10. Old Dodge truck Font

  11. Yea sure...I really want you working on my house!!!

I've seen sooo much worse. Matter of fact, I think I'm gonna start taking pictures of some of the local hack jobs I run across and will post them here in the future. It will blow your mind.
  12. Old Dodge truck Font

    Here's my contribution. 2 for 1 special.
  13. Old Dodge truck Font

On point or not, I don't understand this logic at all. Why trace by hand? It's much easier and far more precise to simply trace it over the top of the photo with your vector software.
  14. Another font ID please

The top line of copy appears to be ITC Symbol.
  15. Another font ID please

The bottom line of copy is Amerigo Bold.
  16. Ugly truck with stupid body lines..in my opinion

Egads! The word disjoined immediately comes to mind.
  17. Photoshop gradient help

That seems odd to me. Maybe someone else can better explain what's happening. In Photoshop you don't have to use transparencies to create gradients, as there is a gradient fill tool. When setting up a red to black gradient fill there should be no banding at all, at least not in RGB mode. Is your...
  18. Need Suggestions on a Logo

Or maybe this? Sorry, John. The uneven negative space between the top and bottom copy created by the lower case letters drives me batty.
  19. Beer and Wine

Hey, hey, hey. Not too shabby.
  20. Retro Logo Design

I agree about the nozzle shadow looking unnatural. I would suggest a slight shadow running across the top length of the nozzle. Nozzles are slightly shiny and shiny things reflect things around them so you can get away with it. Another suggestion would be to outline the nozzle/pump handle with...
