  1. Bad Experience, Print, Laminate, Cut, Help Please

i have done painful 4'x12' jobs with the BS. and it does actually work. but my main complaint with the BS is that i can't do rush lamination jobs with it. laminating with the BS needs at least a day or so to eliminate the silvering and expose any actual bubbles. kelly

ahhh... looks like either an electrical problem or a failing head. you can try to switch data cables to see if the problem follows the cables. kelly

hey guys, i've never owned a gerber before. and pretty much all of you seem to have good things to say about it. are there updated models for this? [the so-called 80's tech printer that is still chugging along now] like with faster, better features, etc? kelly
  8. Print head gone bad?

since you mentioned that your test print is pretty much the same for 2 years now... and assuming you've been printing the same types of colors, i'd look into the head alignments. try to run your alignment calibration and see how it goes. also, it might help a bit to show some pics of the banding...

  10. First day with Big Squeegee and Kooto Cutter

hi! can the kooto cutter handle 3mm/5mm sintra boards? their site said that it cuts non-rigid types. but i'm hoping that sintra's could be soft enough to be handled by the kooto cutter. :) kelly

  18. Roland vs 640 print quality problem after head replace

it really looks like the media being unable to take in the ink that's being dropped on it. in cases like these, i always assume that the hardware is good. [assuming you did the head installation properly] this means that i'd look at ink, media and heat first. other than that, it'd be a far...
