i currently run a small 2-3 person shop. if that's ok with you. i'd love to help you beta test your software. aside from never having seen snow. i'm from asia, so i guess i fall under your international category. email me if want more details.
thanks!

since you seem to be very conscious about having a legit license, i would recommend contacting microsoft help and explaining the situation. i'm sure that if the past downgrade was legit, they will definitely clear things up on the information you need to reinstall your winxp properly.

if it was my roland SC-540 printer that was involved, i'd probably would want to drain the inks from the heads/lines, and move all consumables including spare inks offsite. other than that, i think the electronics and actual machine should be able to take the heat. moisture is the one that...
i have no experience building this type of stuff. but i have been using the big squeegee for a good 2 years now. your setup looks good as it is. but one thing i've always wondered about is where i can get rollers/hjolders that have a sort of brake system on them. so that pre-masking can be a lot...
the image tools mentioned by the other posters are all good solutions. but if i were you, i would remove your clicking hard disk from your cpu, and slap it on as a secondary drive on another desktop asap. this allows you to prioritize the transfer of your most critical files first without...
try to use another roll of media, and if it still the same, it could be some dust or dirt on your linear encoder.
clean it with a lint free cloth + water, and see if it improves.

if you know how to install an expansion board, the easiest way around this one is to buy a usb expansion board. it costs about $6-7 around here, and gives you about 4 instant fully powered usb ports, ready to use.

my money is on you successfully removing the clogs. but destroying the sensitive membrane inside.
don't forget to completely let it dry before sticking it back into your machine. i fried a fuse that way before. :Big Laugh

i can't put my head around some of you folks' ideas about firing both of them right there and then without any form of investigation. anything could have started the fight.

that looks like an electrical problem to me. you could check the data cables starting from the head to the main board. check for ink drops, and corroded contacts. overspray caused by clogged nozzles / ink issues usually just surrounds the image you're printing. your overspray is all over the...
hi dave!
just got the 2 laminators that i ordered a few days ago. i wasn't around to sign for them since i was out. thank you so much for making sure that i got them before i leave this coming monday. i really do appreciate it. in case i need to add for the freight cost, pls do bill me. :)...
hi dale!
i've ordered a couple of big squeegees from you about a year ago and i love them! now, i'll be in buffalo, NY on Oct 24th-29th for my brother's wedding... so, i hope i can order a few more from you now and get to bring them back home with me to avoid the shipping expense. :) [i'm...
i see cyan and magenta overspray. could be an electrical problem somewhere or the head is failing. my particular overspray problem was caused by my head having problems with smaller dots. i re-made my profile and only used the larger dots. that fixed my problem.

i've been thinking about this lately. in your case, since you're actually targeting to never actually making an insurance claim... does it ever make sense to just invest the money [like a rainy day fund of sorts] instead of dropping it all into your insurance premiums? i can't imagine your...
