Sorry wider, We need to apply a graphic to the front side of a piece of acrylic that goes into a light box. I suggested using the translucent adhesive vinyl we had on hand but someone else said no get this other material that is not adhesive and now that we have done a test print and dry fit...
I agree I don't care for them ever since they changed their recipe just not the same they used to be my favorite now I go to the "other" delivery pizza places.
We are in Vegas and use Grimco for most of our supplies (except Oracal cut vinyl) and have been very happy. They will be happy to keep these things on stock for you and work out pricing based on your ordering habits.
When I was having trouble with my color I found this post on another forum and have had no problem with color since. I am running Flexi 10.5 for my rip to my HP L25500. And I have to agree blues come out amazing.
We ended up buying led strips from lumenedge.com (I give them many :thumb: for customer service) 2 of them one on the top and one on the bottom plus two reflective strips on the ends to give it a framed look. We found a local guy who had closed his business but still had his laser and did the...
So just an update if anyone is still following this thread. We got the project done and installed it today. I have attached a picture for you to see and it looks amazing.
3mm actually. And to all the haters my boss is learning same as me and as you all once did we are not born knowing these things that is why Signs101 is such a great resource. Boss man just brought back a saudering iron with a x-acto type blade on it. This method is slow going but easier on my...
Sorry you are right you said Joker my bad but he isn't that either. Sadly a drill, ruler and pencil are the only things on your list we have. Boss is out now looking for the cheapest solution to our problem in the mean time I have cut another one using a utility knife instead of my Olfa silver...
Honestly we don't have a lot of jobs on the table at the moment so I have the time. I was looking for a solution so I don't destroy my hand my thumb has already been numb the last 18 hours. We also have no space to put the extra tools (we are basically in a retail store front no work shop type...
So I have 6 ovals (kind of surfboard shaped) that I need to cut out of sintra so far I have done 2 but my hand is killing me so I was wondering is there an easier way to do this that using a knife. Keep in mind my boss will not invest in new equipment as we are a new store and do not yet know...
:goodpost:
I like this one. neither of the original options are working. I would scrap and start over. If you are using A&P just because of the website how about apgraphics-signs.com or something like that. I don't think you need the double & even if one is and the other & still not working.
We use a paper liner and the only problem we have had is that if you leave it loaded and shut down your machine then restart it so far every time we have a head strike jam that destroys about 8 in of material and it terrible for the print heads.

Unfortunately we can't lay the white as the customer wants it to light at night still. Which is a waste since half the bulbs are out but. The last sign guy did that for him and you can see it pealing off after just 1 year. Customer was not happy that it didn't light up even less happy...
That is what the guy who did the site survey tells me. I am new to signs and not yet familiar with all the materials so I have to go with what others tell me.
We have a sign that has a Panaflex type face that is is pretty bad shape and of course the property management is too cheap to replace it. Anyway our customer is one of the tenants and he needs his name redone (his is the white one pealing off) my question is what is the best material to apply...
