  2. HP latex work printing technical papers like vellum or translucent bond?

We have printed a few rolls of vellum for an event for a client. His client wanted an far east feel for this function and we printed only black graphics / line art primarily and it worked out great using a paper profile. A good bit of it they used to cover commercial troffer fixtures. So yes it...
  3. hp l25500 web wiper code 21.2.10

try cleaning and lubricating the rails that the wiper station runs on, much the way you do the carriage rails. These too get dirty and dry, which increases the resistance and then current draw increases on motor which can throw the error as well. As Castek mentioned, after that replace the motor.

We process a ton of latex prints on various medias with various lams. We see zero silvering on any lam, EXCEPT for Oracal 210 matte over 3651 and then it's typically only in the blacks. It's also gone the next day. All in all, silvering is LESS of an issue with latex than with solvent in our...

  10. Jeti 1224 prints one pass and stops?

Howdy guys. I know I'm missing something here. And it's Monday. One of our Jeti's 1224 prints one pass, then stops. As if its sitting waiting for data. Lamp shutters stay open, lamps stay on. In bi-d it stops on the right side, in uni-d it returns to the left side where motion would reverse...

  17. Any broken HP 9000s out there?

All of ours went to scrap. I turned a few platen blowers into fans for a boot dryer. Good return on the investment I figure.
  18. Do you care if your suppliers become your competitors?

You are both so correct. To be completely honest, we have a retail component to our business. Its less than 20% of our total sales, and is hyper-local. We exist so well synergistically that there are three other shops in town that we print wholesale for, on a regular basis. That being said, we...
  19. l26500 Prints don't line up for contour cut

This is how we do it here. Adding intermediate marks helped a lot, esp since we have multiple printers and cutters running Still, there are some of the low cost vinyls with very light liners that move a lot under latex heat, and there will be sections of a print that don't line up well where...
