I can see your point and I honestly don't have a fact based answer for you. All I know is that a transfer, in all my garment printing experience, is not as superior. The screened inks hold up way better if printed properly and mainly, CURED properly. That's where most people go wrong.
As far as the op's opening question, I'm sure there are many people here that can print them for you.
Now onto the comments that it will be as good as screen printing and that screen printed shirts will crack and fall off after a year, well you need to find a better screen printer. If done...
Ours is Alumilite panels for the long pieces and dibond for the logos. We used a jigsaw to cut them out and they have 3" standoffs. We're having the siding fixed up next week and some new paint on the building.
I just wanted to give an update:
Unfortunatly we can't host the NE meet this year. Our new shop is soooo far from being setup properly and we are so busy for the next few months that we won't be able to get the shop in shape in time. I really don't want the shop to be half assed if we are going...
Thanks everyone. This was a fun one.
Olsen, we mounted the print on the inside so there is no exposed print. The only thing that will get scratched is the plastic and they expect that. :)
Here's a fun project we finished up today. Backlit lexan panels on the front and sides (not shown) of this bar. Had a few set backs early on but we got through it and got it installed in time. :) I just felt like sharing. :)
Jill, I'm right in between lake Erie, lake Ontario and the Niagara River. There is PLENTY of great fishing up here.
Steph, you better make it up this year. :) it won't be the same without you. You too Jill.
It's not really close enough to walk. It's 2 miles down the road. I'm sure you can set something up with one of the other guys to get a ride from the hotel. If you have to I think a taxi might run $3.
Oh come on, I traveled about 7 hours each way the last 3 meets. Some people fly in from other countries. :) I know 3 people for sure that will be coming in from NJ. That is where you are right?
Ok ok. Yes I am planning on hosting this year. We should be in our new location by June 1st so the end of summer would be great. it'll give us a few months to get situated. I've been thinking about it a lot lately. I think I'm going to do a little BBQ at my house for the early comers on Friday...
