I've never ran a Seiko, but I can tall you that my dealer who sells both Roland and Seiko tells me that Seiko is higher up the ladder towards industrial machinery, when compared to Roland. I initially wanted to update my Rolands with an XF, but after a few threads of bad XF reports, I'm going...
I run/ran T-Printz material myself. I agree with Mosh. Rubber on a shirt. Not viable for re-order business. Direct to garment is the solution my clients prefer.
Are you using OEM cartridge ink? If you're using bulk the pressure could be set too high. How is the nozzle test and printing? Are you just getting drips, or are you experiencing ghosting and drop out in the prints as well?
Is there a lot of slack in your motor cable? The alignment tool as I understand it, is for calibration of your own crop marks. I use cutstudio, so I've never needed it myself.
When I have alignment issues, it's the because the material is walking the platen of my 500.
I ordered my controller from http://www.instrumart.com/
They can help you get the exact controller. Then take your old controller apart and get the relay out of it. Order a replacement component and put it in. I can of course offer more information when needed. Just Pm me. I'm slammed at...
Are you cutting rolls of sheets?
I would recommend taking the piece you just printed and re-rolling it tightly onto a core. Re-load and feed it through the machine for cutting.
I have never ran a print/cut machine. Currently I am running a 25,000 piece job on a stand alone Roland cutter. Everything is laminated and running on a gx-500. The trick to solid cuts for me is making sure the media is DEAD ON when feeding. The slightest walk and it's over. At most I...
This has happened to both my Pro II's.
The mechanical relay in the assembly is stuck. A new relay is 12.00 and six solder points. I have new spare on hand from Fuji for my printers, and I have rebuilt both of my controllers for next to nothing. They work perfect again.
I have a 745 and a 645. I love these machines. They Must have the tall dampers for sure. It took me years to figure that one out.
All the parts are available from third party suppliers if you know where to look. Fuji still makes the heat controller. It's about $225.00. roland wanted...
