We just installed about 50 panels in a showroom of .060 styrene. All panels were printed on a Roland UV printer and had no issues with the heat lamps. Prints look outstanding... We have also printed on .30 styrene with no issues.

We have a Keencut 60" cutter. http://www.artsupply.com/Keencut-60-Sabre-Trimmer-As12_p_60175.html It's great b/c you can cut panels longer than 60" by slicing and moving it over. Great purchase and perfect for trimming wall borders, wall wraps, vehicle wraps, decal runs, etc...

His work is art... I could spend a lifetime trying to achieve anything close to his skills and still not even get close. He is truly gifted and it shows in all of his work. I love the tank he did a few years ago... simply amazing! You got your money's worth for sure!

I'm curious to which brand the majority of sign professional here choose to use for their window perf projects. Solvex: 50/50 or 70/30 (6 MIL - 54" x 100') I have used Solvex for many automotive truck back glass projects. The results have been very positive and most every project has lasted...

Wow... lucky guy. I tried to purchase a new warranty on an XC-540 that we just purchased. The warranty had expired already. The machine had a few new heads, new motherboard and in excellent condition. But I was not able to secure a new warranty. :(

What media are you using? What profiles have you used in VW? That splotchy looking print looks like a profile issue. The heat, dpi and media feed speed looks to be the problem within the profile. ... I recently was testing some new profiles on some vinyl media. I got the splotchy looking...

Oh well... back to the real problem. ... News Flash: 3M/OW is our competitor not just a former supplier.

We were told by a Roland rep and a Roland tech that it does not require the inks to be drained for a short move. They mentioned to bolt down the head like a few others have mentioned in this post. We are using this method to move an XC-540 here within the next two weeks.

Thanks fellas! I am very excited about the positive things I have been hearing from others that have made the switch from our competitor to Oracal media. I cannot wait to bust out some new samples using Oracal media!
