  7. Printing on Styrene

    We just installed about 50 panels in a showroom of .060 styrene. All panels were printed on a Roland UV printer and had no issues with the heat lamps. Prints look outstanding... We have also printed on .30 styrene with no issues.

    We have a Keencut 60" cutter. http://www.artsupply.com/Keencut-60-Sabre-Trimmer-As12_p_60175.html It's great b/c you can cut panels longer than 60" by slicing and moving it over. Great purchase and perfect for trimming wall borders, wall wraps, vehicle wraps, decal runs, etc...

    Wow... lucky guy. I tried to purchase a new warranty on an XC-540 that we just purchased. The warranty had expired already. The machine had a few new heads, new motherboard and in excellent condition. But I was not able to secure a new warranty. :(

    What media are you using? What profiles have you used in VW? That splotchy looking print looks like a profile issue. The heat, dpi and media feed speed looks to be the problem within the profile. ... I recently was testing some new profiles on some vinyl media. I got the splotchy looking...

  19. Draining inks from VP540 for move

    We were told by a Roland rep and a Roland tech that it does not require the inks to be drained for a short move. They mentioned to bolt down the head like a few others have mentioned in this post. We are using this method to move an XC-540 here within the next two weeks.
