I use the Optima tape, get it from Advantage Sign Supply.
They have a few different grades, I vary which tape is used depending upon where the banner will be used & for how long it might be up.
I have had the cheap (yellow backed) tape fail, especially on double-sided full bleed banners...
On a new install of 2.61 here, I have my local plotter loaded, and the edge FX loaded through the network. But.... in Composer I cannot get it to show foil palettes (option is grayed out). How do I get those to show up so that I can choose the foil colors?
Stop stealing my ideas! This is a wall in our office (picture was during installation 2 months ago). Needs more colors in it, kinda monotone with the yellow.
The fluorescent lighting after dark doesn't help photographs well...
We upgraded our shop about 6 months ago to the new fixtures (gov rebate helped!), we now have 20 of the 4' (6 bulb?) fixtures in the garage. Didn't notice much difference lighting wise (maybe a little brighter), as we had both the high-intensity and old-style florescent fixtures in the shop...

Ask a few friends/customers who the local computer store with the best reputation is. One of my customers built my new computer, it is VERY fast. My only complaint is with CS4 products sometimes they crash unexpectedly on really large files. The client tells me that I need CS5+ for the programs...
Haven't used any in about a year, but at the old shop we printed some and put it on a box truck advertising for an annual event in the summer. We took it off the truck after a month outside (sun/rain/etc) and put it back on the backer. The next year we reapplied it to the truck and it sat...
Not getting any jobs of that caliber around this shop, but business has been better than ever before, too much to keep up with!
On the other side of the coin, I cannot find anyone who wants to "work" here. I've been through about a person a month in the past 6 months... The new girl is smart...
Just finished this one a couple moths ago. Make SURE your screws are hitting studs, or add studs before you place the panels. This one is 5x24 (3 5x8 panels). I am pretty sure this was the thinner dibond/alumacore/etc/etc material.
I think the colored sheets are "single-sided" one color and a...
