I think you have two separate problems that just happened to show up at the same time. The ink system has nothing to do with how dark the prints come out unless you put the wrong color ink in the cyan spot.
The pack end sensor is probably broken on your cyan cartridge holder. It looks like a...
Good suggestions above. You can also try taking the top long cover off the machine. Believe it or not it can be a temporary fix for this issue. If it does start printing properly after taking off the cover, your CR cables are bad.
1/3 of the size would be 88" x 64" and at 200 DPI it would end up at 66 DPI. You should try to get closer to 300 DPI so you end up at 100 DPI. 66 will look pixilated.
As for vectorizing a bitmap, it won't work like you think it will. Think about it this way, you have a few choices on how to...
Stay away from the GS6000. It's not a very good machine and it is older then the other machines mentioned. Also, 70 ink cartridges sounds great until they all expire and become worthless. The S series printers have newer print heads as well which are faster and more reliable.
Corel has always been really clunky and unfinished to me. I grew up on Illustrator so I stick with that. I think that's how most people are. They stick with what they know. That being said, I can't see how anyone who has used illustrator or Corel could like using Flexi's design program. I feel...
When you change the head height you have to run the bi-directional alignments again. It takes longer for the ink drops to fall from the head and therfore messes up your alignment.
Ok so it's definitely an electrical issue. This can happen if the cables short out which could be caused by dust build up or even ink splatter getting on the cables. Also, sometimes the cable is just partially unplugged. I would check the head cables and replace them if they are damaged or...
I can't help you out too much as Epson keeps information on exactly how the head ranks work guarded. I can tell you that there was an Epson machine that used 3 DX4 heads and on each of the heads there were 3 head rank stickers stacked on each other. The first sticker had the most letters and...
A wired connection is always going to be faster than WiFi but if you don't want to do that, just get a router that works. If it keeps dropping it could be that your area is saturated with WiFi signals, usually 2.4ghz signals, or even your phone system can interfere with the WiFi. Get a router...
The main difference between you doing it and their tech doing it is if you mess up, you just lost $3000. If they mess up, they have to fix it.
I have hundreds of customers from all kinds of backgrounds who have installed their own heads. We sell mostly Roland, Mimaki, and Mutoh heads which are...
I believe that is only an option when doing a print and cut job. If you are just doing a regular print, the cut options don't pop up. So you should be able to do it with a print cut job.
You can just put a cut line around the job and have Rasterlink Print and Cut. But there is no option in Rasterlink to automatically cut a box around the image without putting one there.
The CJV30 will outperform both the Sp and VP series hands down. The SP and VP series use 2 and 4 DX4 print heads respectively. These heads have 360 nozzles per head and fire 3 different sized dots. The CJV30 uses a single DX5 print head that has 1440 nozzles and fires 5 different sized dots and...
