The new trucks with DPF systems will leave no soot. You said it was done 3 years ago with no mention for the age of the truck.
New EPA regs are such that the latest diesels have almost zero odor and zero particulate emissions. This would preclude the weekly wash.
We have a client that brings us an Arlon satin finish banner for pop-ups. We do quite a few and the material prints beautifully and lays super flat. Can't recall the P/N though.
(yes I know the whole deal with client supplied material, but in this instance it works well for both of us)
We run a 65" Royal Sovereign. It does a great job. I would like to get a smaller lam and have been intrigued by US TECH. Several members have them and they seem to run well.
The latest VersaWorks updates are useless for SP540V. Roland no longer supports them with RIP updates. We had issues with our SP540V until we shut off auto update and went back to previous version.
It is all marketing hype. Drives like many other things are rated using the best case scenarios. Never real world. Look at the wording in the specs.
The rest of your system needs to be optimized to take advantage of the SSD also.
I can't remember what brand/model of flatbed UV printer our sub uses, but it bangs out 0.030" styrene perfectly. Never any complaints and they are for trade show displays so they take a beating.
Sorry not much help.
BTW how's that LIMAC performing?
Sorry but it is...the two are not mutually exclusive.
Anything that says bulk ink for Roland is 3rd party. Roland never made a bulk ink system for any of their machines.
Gee you would make one whole print for me?! Golly, I don't know what to say. That one whole print would sure prove how good your ink is. What a fool I've been thinking 3rd party inks are no good when one single print would prove it. Yup so many things have been proven with just one test...
Don't do it.
About the only way is if you are running thousands of dollars of ink per month. Savings on the ink will help amortize all the heads you will wreck.
3rd party ink sucks. Been there, done that. Never again.
