I've done that as well many times for stubborn files. Sometimes just opening the file in AI then exporting as something like a PDF fixes the issue.

I too have just found it easier to set the pressure at the machine. It varies over the life of the blade so the adjustment needs to be relative to how old the blade is.

Stay away from "Super Markers" (I got on Amazon). They were cheap and had a lot of colors but didn't work at all on my eco-sol prints and seemed too dry. I went back and bought the assorted Sharpie brand with the chisel tip since those seem to have worked best throughout the years.

I think everyone suggestions are good things to try. I occasionally have to export as PDF to get things to work right when .ai or .eps files aren't importing as they should into Flexi. Not sure if your version of Flexi supports the v5 of AI so also may try saving as an older .ai version.

I am curious on this as several have said to uncheck the "suppress options" box but when exporting as png that is grayed out on mine (works for other formats). Am I missing something? I'm on 12 PS3 p4 build 2568.

So "upgraded" to Windows 10 and I thought it fixed the problem as I changed rolls about 5 times before the issue started again.

I just double checked and apparently that is the only computer I have running windows 8.1. Guess I never updated to 10 for some reason.

Last week I noticed my cutter wouldn't respond after changing rolls of vinyl. The only way to fix it was to unplug the USB and plug it back in after each roll change. When I disconnect the USB I hear the sound that it disconnected and hear it when it reconnects. So it doesn't sound like it is...

Where is this setting? I don't see it anywhere in PM. I did discover if I turn off "easy weed" it fixes the issue since for some reason the easy weed box decides to cut directly over that panel line on one side instead of having the 0.1" spacing I have specified.
