  1. Prints on dibond

Try 3M IJ13C or Orajet 3165RA, both have air-egress adhesive and are rated for 5 years, and should go down smoother.
  2. Hellllllllllllllllllllllllo Winter!

I'm extremely jealous. Can't wait for the snow!
  3. Need a new digital camera...help!

Yup. I bought it at a local camera shop for $399 and they included a 16gb card for free.
  4. Need a new digital camera...help!

I just ditched my Nikon DSLRs for a Nikon P7000 and couldn't be happier. I loved my DLSR rigs but they got cumbersome to lug around everywhere and I found I wasn't using them like I could or should just because of the inconvenience. The P7000 is a high-end point-and-shoot with all of the manual...
  5. PC for Graphic Design...

I just built a new machine with this processor too, teamed it up with 2 SSDs, 16gb of RAM and overclocked it to 4.4ghz (air-cooled and rock-solid stable) and it is obscenely quick. For the money it seems like a hard processor to beat...
  6. Epson GS600 vs. other printers

Good choice! I will say I would have recommended a separate printer and cutter, an all-in-one machine could be a pretty big bottleneck in a high-production workflow, I know it would kill us. But you made an excellent decision, it's a very good machine. "Insignia, just curious. What is the...
  7. Removable wall decals

    MacTac Wallnoodle.
  8. Shift in color from print a few days ago

If it's a different roll I suspect either that or the heat settings weren't the same, or an environmental difference. Any of those won't make a significant difference between two prints if it's a full-color image, but it's always more apparent in a solid block of color, and I'll go out on a limb...
  9. Epson GS600 vs. other printers

For what it's worth I'd give up my Epson for another JV33 in a heartbeat. Hell, I'd give my left leg just to get rid of the GS6000. Print quality is very good, color gamut is good but not significantly better than that of a well-profiled 4-color machine and certainly isn't worth double the ink...
  10. Reverse Print Decals

Are you looking for advice on how to produce them in house or a merchant member to do the job for you? We do them all the time, so let me know if you need a quote. If you need to know how to do them in house, it's fairly simple. If that's what you're after I'll try to post how to.
  11. Wall Vinyl NOT sticking

That's a rough paint job, my guess is too much texture...
  12. Wholesale Vendor Needed

That made me LOL! And yeah, Wayne Industries for those.
  13. After the Nickleback Thread ...

Bang Your Head - Quiet Riot
  14. Oracal 3551RA

3551 is fine for trailers and any flat surface as long as you can remove the rivets. It tents on rivets in no time. I know they say it's fine for mild-moderately curved surfaces but I wouldn't trust it on any compound curve, no matter how mild. The price isn't that much different than 180C, I...
  15. Ohio need Roland sp540 dampers and top caps

Nazdar in Cincinnati should, not sure if they'd be in stock but they're a pretty big Roland dealer. Trigon (also in Cinci) may, they're Roland dealers, not sure if they keep a lot of parts in house though.
  16. Watch out for these guys

    bwahahahahaha
  17. Artwork Storage ?

Yup, basically an external hard drive that connects to the network, accessible by any computer on the network.
  18. Artwork Storage ?

Yup, we use a 1T NAS device made by Hammer Storage, works great, simple as can be to hook up, no headaches whatsoever. We run it in RAID 1 so there's a constant backup of everything. We're close to filling it up so we're looking into a 2T or 4T that will run in RAID 10, and I'd like to get one...
  19. Watch out for these guys

I'll play devil's advocate here. Everything else aside, IMO that's a crap print job. Color matching is a gray area without seeing the actual submitted file, but just from that photo, that print job should not have left that vendor. Period. Addie seems to have a valid complaint. Just sayin'.
  20. PDF coming into Illustrator weird

Thank Vector Doctor, it's his, I can't take any credit for it!
