Probably the most likely scenario. We had the same issue all the time on our Rastek. We rarely had to replace them, but we would occasionally have to open the sub tank and make sure the float wasn't stuck. Pull it out, clean it off, make sure it's mechanically sound. If it still doesn't work...

Are you using Illustrator CC or a previous version? It definitely works on all of our computers with CC. I think there's a computer here that still has Illustrator 6 on it, now I'm curious as to whether it will display EPS files in the preview pane.
