  1. Help with Spanish translation...

If anyone can translate "Put Car in Neutral" and "Foot Off Brake" from English to Spanish I would really appreciate it. :thankyou:
  2. Critique

I get the red, white and blue of course --- but it does not look like a landscape company at first glance.
  3. ProWraps newest installer....

Congratulations! I've got twin boys due any day now so this post hits close to home. Moms and babies are so amazing--I hope she's a night sleeper!
  4. Devastation in Japan

Those pictures really show the incredible devastation to the coastal areas. I can't imagine the terror that those poor people went through.
  5. Lusterboard delaminating!?!

Any discount would have to be amortized over a 5 to 7 year sign life expectancy. His discount shouldn't be much more than 20-30% at this point. I've never heard of Lusterboard doing that. Hopefully it was just a bad batch of laminate glue.
  6. Fun with chisels!

Great -- I use Behr also for backgrounds. Thanks for the information.:thankyou:
  7. Fun with chisels!

Those oranges are masterworks as far as signs go. Great for closeup photos for a portfolio piece. I appreciate your input on latex too. We always use latex on the blasted backgrounds but usually One-Shot on the lettering. What brand of latex paint do you prefer? How many coats on the lettering?
  8. What a Jackass!

I've been in Moscow traffic a few times and I'm pretty sure this guy moonlights as a taxi driver.
  9. Trying to Print Magnets on HP9000

I've never tried magnetic material but I don't think it will work because the metal housing on the unit stops it from advancing.
  10. Looking for GTA Sign shop

Just what I was thinking. Sounds like you want to be the middleman and have someone to jump through hoops for peanuts.
  11. Volume discount?

So you would price 1 custom banner for the same price as 200 production banners and really expect to get the job? Never gonna happen in the real world.
  12. Who owns the Logo?

I don't think you need to credit the other sign company by name. Just mention in the caption that the customer provided the logo.
  13. A Beautiful Death

Thank you for sharing that Arlo. I'm glad that you and your family were comforted so powerfully at the moment of her passing. This story gives comfort to all of us and reaffirms the faith for those of us who believe.
  14. uh oh!

Geez, a company gets a $1.4 million contract and uses MacTac?
  15. what would you pay for this line drawing

If you put this photo with the vector version next to it on your website you could certainly charge $100+ for similar work. That is a good example to show the detail and quality of your work.
  16. I'm in such a rut here....

Top 2 and second one down on right caught my attention. Third one down on the left is a clean logo too. Do you always create such a variety of different style logos for your customers? When I do that they always seem to choose my least favorite.
  17. $400 Wraps!?!?!?!?! oh my

Funny, but obviously just a prank site.
  18. Silverback UNLEASHED!

    Wow! Looks real, great job!
  19. Printing 1000's of decals at one time.

At 15,000 seems like outsourcing would make more sense.
  20. Lost my job, what next?

Sorry to hear about the job loss. I always thought you were self-employed. You have lots of opportunities now, including being your own boss --- or running for congress. Your employer has been paying into unemployment insurance for you with your every paycheck. Are some here actually...
