Would this be considered theft even though they've never paid for it?
I have somebody who has been ghosting me for months, refusing to answer calls or emails and I'm wondering what my options are.
I'm likely just going to take them to small claims court, as I'm sure you'll be advising, but I'm...
Would you make the sign exactly as your competitor drew it up? Make changes so it's not completely ripping off their work?
We get pricing approval before we do any design work for this reason, but I'm sure these things work both ways.
I don't think we should turn down the work, but I do want...
We are making a large Lexan sign that will need to be rolled up to be transported but I'm concerned it will cause the vinyl to either stretch or peel off.
How would you guys go about dealing with this situation?
Thanks in advance for any guidance!
I'm wondering if we can use Primer 94 on things like Orajet calendared vinyl or Avery cast vinyl.
There are certain contours where using something like Primer 94 is essential but I'm not sure if we can use it for these other materials.
Thanks in advance!
Looking for somebody that can do a bunch of political signs with 2 colors (plus white).
Stouse doesn't seem to offer spot color process on signs this large.
Thanks in advance!
We're trying to wrap the side of a school bus and are trying to figure out how to wrap vinyl in the ridges on the side of a bus without overly stretching the vinyl or causing the vinyl to wrinkle as we work our way up.
The image below isn't the bus we're doing but you can see the ridges I'm...
Right now we use RasterLink Pro for our Mimaki and Flexi for our HP.
Is it possible to manage both of these from a single interface to simplify operations?
Thank you!
I'm always up for trying something new to see what works, and postcards are next on the list.
The most important part of this (other than the quality of the list) is having a compelling offer that will get people to call/email.
For those of you that actively market your business, what offers...
We've had a couple installs recently where we were drilling into concrete and after an inch or so, we reached some sort of surface that even our strongest drill bits couldn't make any progress.
I'm guessing there was some sort of steel rebar beneath the concrete that we couldn't drill through...
I'm thinking of offering some sort of profit-sharing incentive for my team.
Right now I'm thinking of perhaps 15% of our quarterly profits being set aside and split amongst the team.
My hope is this will motivate them to take more pride in their work, to pressure each other to make less...
We did a vinyl wrap on a boat and in 3M training we were taught to use their 3950 Edge Sealer to seal the edges to prevent moisture from getting underneath the wrap.
However, as the Edge Sealer dried, it caused the vinyl to wrinkle as you see in the image below.
Note: This wrinkling showed up...
March has been a great month for us and April is looking like it will be even better.
However, I bought this company last April don't know whether every March/April is a great month or if this is an outlier.
What months are the best for you guys (and gals)?
We need to attach a sign to a roof with slats and the property owner has requested we do not put any holes in the new roof.
I've attached a picture of how another tenant's sign is installed using a bracket that clamps onto the slats on the roof. I've also included another picture that shows...
I recall seeing a thread where people showed pictures of how they attach 2x4s to the bottom of their buckets to hold the panels but I can't find the thread now.
I'd love to see how you guys are lifting your large panels into the air for installation.
Thank you in advance!
I have an opportunity to do a vinyl wrap on a water tower and I'm trying to figure out how that would work logistically.
I'll need to be about 200' in the air so a bucket truck won't be high enough.
Obviously I'll take whatever safety precautions are necessary but I'd like to figure out how to...
I'm looking for somebody who makes custom wood signs at wholesale prices.
We need to order an 8x4 wood sign with depth (channels?) and painted.
Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
We don't typically work with wood but we have a client looking for a sign made entirely from sustainable materials, including posts.
Does anybody know where we can find a trade company who will produce signs and potentially sell posts as well from wood or other sustainable materials?
They're...
The wind caught the readerboard of a client of ours and it caused the back panel to fly out of the cabinet and break. (we didn't install them... Not sure if it was a bad install or what)
I'm trying to find a source for the translucent 4'x8' back panel that has the strips the letters slip into...
Finally, a thread where I can contribute something vs. asking for guidance!
We're constantly trying new things, but we've seen positive results with the below strategies:
Setting up Google Alerts to let us know any time a company is moving offices, relocating to the area, rebranding, or has...
